Made with a Python program on a Raspberry Pi Zero W, it recognizes different shapes with its camera module, and depending on what sees sends commands for the flight controller such as "go forward", "go backward", etc.
This drone was created with the intention of performing life saving action without the need of any human help. These intelligent drones do not need any pilot control and know how to do much more than filming in 4k. These drones can communicate with each other while flying and solve problems together. With its facial detection features, the drone has potential to save lives, look for people in inaccessible places and in destroyed buildings. It also can be used to detect animals or even to catch criminals in a big mass of people. This drone has the power of lessening the amount of tragedies that happen every year. Their depth of field is rather large; they can communicate up to 1.8 kilometers. Each drone is in constant communication with the main server. Through the main server they share knowledge with each other, expanding their knowledge in regards to the world and the terrain. Each time they make their flying techniques smoother and their database is growing. The drones navigate automatically with GPS and with their camera.
To build this project, knowing how to program Raspberry Pi in Python, how to build a drone, and how to use the MultiWii FC board is required. You will also need the following:
